The Sisters of Delta Psi Sigma Sorority Boston Beta Chapter would like to invite you to our Fall 2025 Beta Kappa Class Recruitment!

WHAT IS RECRUITMENT? 

ᯓᡣ𐭩 Recruitment week is a two-week-long event at the beginning of the school semester filled with fun events for girls who are interested in getting to know the Delta Psi Sigma sisters. This is an opportunity to find out what we are about, what we stand for, and for us to answer any questions you may have. ANYONE in the Boston/Greater Boston area can rush and our rush events are all free/non-binding!

***To qualify for an interview, you MUST attend 1 GIM (general interest meeting) and 1 Social event. That is TWO events total. After interviews, you will be contacted by our sisters about whether you have received a bid. If you have any questions about DYS, please do not hesitate to ask!***

FAQs

  • A bid is a formal invitation to join DYS.

    To qualify for a bid during recruitment, you must attend at least one GIM and one event, as well as an interview the following Saturday after recruitment ends. Sisters will then give you a call back to confidentially disclose the decision of your bid.

  • Recruitment takes place at the beginning of each fall and spring semester. Occasionally, our chapter will hold recruitment during the beginning of the summer in addition to the regular recruitment periods.

  • Any college women in Boston and the Greater Boston Area may attend recruitment. There are no restrictions for any age, college, grade level, or ethnic background. 

  • Yes! Deltas welcomes anyone to come to recruitment again even if they have not received a bid the past semester. Many current and past sisters have attended multiple times.

  • No! Recruitment is free and non-binding.

  • The interview is an opportunity for sisters to get to know you more. It reflects that of a professional interview and is about 15 minutes long. Please dress in business casual attire.

  • Remember to be yourself! and get to know sisters as much as possible during events. Every sister was a PNM (potential new member) once and knows exactly how it is, so remember to have fun and reach out to sisters with any questions or just to chat!
